These Terms & Conditions outline how our loyalty program works, how you can earn and spend your Hearts, and the legal details that protect both you and A Little Love Bookshop. By joining A Little Love Club, you agree to these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Joining the Club

1.1. Eligibility: A Little Love Club is free to join and is open to individuals aged 18 years and older.

1.2. Account Creation: To join, you must create an account on our website (alittlelovebookshop.com.au) using a valid email address. Only one account is permitted per person.

1.3. Platform: Our loyalty program is powered by BLOY Rewards. By participating, you acknowledge that your loyalty data is managed securely through this platform in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Earning Hearts

2.1. Purchases: Members earn Hearts on eligible purchases made through our website. The number of Hearts earned per $1 spent depends on your current tier:
•Sweetheart: 5 Hearts per $1 spent
•Lover: 6 Hearts per $1 spent
•Darling: 7 Hearts per $1 spent

2.2. Exclusions: Hearts are calculated based on the final purchase amount after any discounts have been applied. Hearts are not earned on shipping fees, the purchase of gift cards, or any taxes/duties.

2.3. Other Ways to Earn: Members can also earn Hearts through specific actions, such as following our social media accounts, leaving reviews, or referring friends, as outlined on our Loyalty Program page. We reserve the right to change or remove these earning methods at any time.

2.4. Refunds: If you return an item for a refund, the Hearts earned from that purchase will be deducted from your account balance.

3. Tiers and Perks

3.1. Tier Structure: A Little Love Club has three tiers based on the total number of Hearts you have earned:
•Sweetheart: 0 – 999 Hearts
•Lover: 1,000 – 2,499 Hearts
•Darling: 2,500+ Hearts

3.2. Tier Entry Rewards: When you reach a new tier, you may receive a one-time entry reward (e.g., a $5 discount for Lover, a $10 discount for Darling). These rewards are issued at our discretion and cannot be exchanged for cash.

3.3. Early Access: Lover and Darling members receive early access to major sales (24 hours and 48 hours, respectively). We will notify eligible members via email prior to the sale.

4. Redeeming Hearts

4.1. Discounts: Hearts can be redeemed at checkout for discount codes. The current redemption values are:
•500 Hearts = $5 off (minimum $30 spend)
•1,000 Hearts = $10 off (minimum $50 spend)
•1,500 Hearts = $15 off (minimum $75 spend)
•2,000 Hearts = $20 off (minimum $90 spend)
•2,500 Hearts = $25 off (minimum $100 spend)

4.2. Conditions of Use:•Only one discount code or reward can be used per transaction.
•Rewards cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code or offer unless explicitly stated.
•Rewards cannot be applied to shipping costs or the purchase of gift cards.
•Hearts and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Expiry of Hearts

5.1. Current Policy: At this time, your Hearts do not expire.

5.2. Future Changes: We reserve the right to introduce an expiry period for Hearts in the future. If we do, we will provide all members with clear, prominent, and reasonable written notice (via email) at least 30 days before any expiry rules take effect, giving you ample time to redeem your existing balance. This aligns with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law to ensure fairness and transparency.

6. Changes to the Program

6.1. Our Rights: As a small business, we need the flexibility to adapt. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel A Little Love Club, including changing the tier thresholds, earning rates, or redemption values, at any time.

6.2. Notice of Changes: If we make material changes that significantly impact your existing Hearts or benefits, we will provide reasonable notice via email so you have the opportunity to use your accumulated rewards.

7. Privacy and Communications

7.1. Data Collection: By joining the program, you consent to us collecting and using your personal information (such as your name, email, and purchase history) to administer your loyalty account and provide you with rewards.

7.2. Marketing: As a member, you may receive emails regarding your loyalty balance, tier status, and exclusive member offers. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link, though you will still receive essential transactional emails regarding your account.

7.3. Privacy Policy: All personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our store's Privacy Policy.

8. Account Termination

8.1. By You: You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation, any unused Hearts will be forfeited.

8.2. By Us: We reserve the right to terminate your account or revoke your Hearts if we suspect fraudulent activity, abuse of the program, or a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
