Do you have a physical store I can visit?
A Little Love Bookshop is proudly 100% online — which means our shelves are open to romance readers all across Australia and New Zealand, any time of day! We're based in Sydney NSW, but we ship nationwide. All orders are packed with love and sent straight to your door via Australia Post.

We ship using Australia Post and offer $9.99 flat rate shipping on all standard orders within Australia.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed with love and dispatched within 2-3 business days.
Once your order has been processed, you'll receive an estimated delivery timeframe along with a tracking number.

How do I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with an Australia Post tracking number.
Simply use this number to follow your package’s journey via Australia Post's tracking portal.
Do you use eco-friendly packaging?
We believe every love story deserves a greener future! Our packaging is thoughtfully selected to be recyclable, compostable, or made from sustainable materials. We're always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
We want every book to arrive safely, but if your order is damaged, please reach out to us at alittlelovebookshop@gmail.com within 14-days of receiving it.
Include a photo of the damage, and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Please Note: Books purchased from the pre-loved collection are final sale, and can not be returned. Please view our refund policy for more information.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it — unread, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note: All books from our Preloved Collection and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.
How to Start a Return?
To request a return, email us at alittlelovebookshop@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Title(s) of the book(s) and/or bookish accessories you'd like to return
- Reason(s) for the return
If approved, we'll guide you through the next steps. Return postage is at the customer's expense. Once received and inspected, we'll issue a refund or store credit. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

How long does it take to process my return?
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you about the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note: Banking and credit card processing times may vary.
Can I exchange for a different item?
We don't accept direct exchanges at this time, but we're happy to offer either a store credit or a refund for eligible returns so you can purchase the item you'd prefer.
Blind Dates for Book Lovers
How does a Blind Date with a Book work?
It's exactly what it sounds like — a mystery book chosen just for you! Each Blind Date bundle includes a hand-picked indie romance novel wrapped in kraft paper, plus a reversible bookmark and bookish stickers. It's the perfect way to discover a new author or treat yourself to a surprise.
What if I've already read the book?
Because it's a mystery, there is a small chance you may receive a book you already own. To prevent this, you can leave a link to your Goodreads profile or a list of your recently read indie romances in the order notes at checkout, and we'll do our best to pick something new for you!
Preloved Books
What condition are the Preloved Books in?
Our Preloved Collection gives well-loved books a second life. All books are carefully checked before listing. They may show minor signs of wear (like a creased spine or slightly bumped corners), but all pages are intact and they are in great readable condition. Any significant flaws will be noted in the product description.
Can I return a Preloved Book?
Because of their secondhand nature, all books purchased from the Preloved Collection are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Gift Cards
How do digital gift cards work?
Our digital gift cards are delivered instantly by email and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout. You can forward the email to the lucky recipient or print it out to give to them in person.
Do gift cards expire?
No! A Little Love Bookshop gift cards have no expiry date, so the recipient can take their time finding the perfect read.
Pre-Orders
When will I be charged for a pre-order?
Payment for pre-orders is captured at the time of checkout to secure your copy.
When will my pre-order ship?
Pre-orders ship on or just before the official publication date. If you order in-stock items alongside a pre-order item, your entire order will be held and shipped together once the pre-order book arrives. If you'd like your in-stock items sooner, please place two separate orders.

How can I sign up?
Joining A Little Love Rewards is easy! Simply create an account on our website (floating in the bottom right corner), and you’ll automatically start earning Love Points with every purchase.
How can I earn points?
For every $1 spent, you'll earn 5 points. The more you shop, the more love you earn!
How can I redeem my points?
Every 100 points equals $1 off your next purchase. Simply log into your rewards account and apply your points at checkout to enjoy your well-earned discount.

How do you select which novels to stock?
Every book at A Little Love is chosen with care. We handpick stories that spark joy, sweep you away, and deliver the kind of romance our readers come back for again and again. We prioritise Aussie indie authors, stories that make us feel big emotions, and highly anticipated community favourites.
I'm an indie author. How can I submit my book?
We love discovering new love stories! If you'd like to see your book on our shelves, please fill out our Author Enquiry Form. We carefully curate our collection to match the dreamy, heartfelt vibes of the shop, so while we can't accept every submission, we promise to give each one thoughtful consideration.
